Heaps to Share

Our launch night was great and I hope our customers had a fabulous time.  We had a room of nearly 40 people experimenting with new Stampin' Up products.  I loved it :)

These were the projects we created:
Cherish Card
Fresh Cuts Stamp Set and Warm Words

Chocolate Bar Wrapper - this is so easy and such a cute treat
Occasional Greeting Stamp Set and Good Morning Sunshine Patterned Paper

Thank you Card
All Scallops Stamp Set and Good Morning Sunshine Patterned Paper

Last night I held an Easter class here at home to create a few gift ideas for the next weekend (you know, when the bunny with the floppy ears comes).  I had a lovely group of crafters who went home with the cutest little boxes that they don't want to hand on to anyone else. LOL!  Oh well, they will have to make some more then.  I am going to be busy tomorrow creating a whole bunch of them to give out to my family.  And of course I have three little boys who would all like one too.
And we made this little pouch for eggs.
And this sweet card with the Oval Punch.

Also this week, I received a bunch of new stamps and papers.  Sigh!!  If only I had more hours in the day to play.   Here I have played with a Simply Scrappin kit (Sweet Nothings) and the Sweet Sticky Cuts with the Fine Supanova glitter (mmmmm, love it!).
And an acetate card using Good Morning Sunshine patterned paper.  I love playing with acetate.  It's a medium that gives your cards a different element and I like that.

Thanks for dropping by.  If you have any questions about any of the Stampin' Up products I have used, please email me at scrapalley@gmail.com.  I am only too happy to help.  I will be sure to share more with you over the next few days.
Bye
Alex

Displays for our Launch

One more sleep until I get to have fun at our Catalogue Launch.  Yipee!

So............because it is tomorrow, I thought I would share some samples I have made.

This is a frame I had from my old gifts and homewares business and the glass had broken in transit.  So it has been sitting in my drawer waiting for some action.
I have used the Always stamp set and the new Three Little Words set on this project.  Colours are Chocolate Chip and Pink Pirouette (be prepared to see that colour ALOT here this year :)

This next project is a cute little acetate box that will be one of the prizes for the night.  Isn't it cute?

This will be one of the projects for next weeks Easter Class (sorry, class is full but if you would like to make one of these keep an eye out for more class coming soon).  They would be great for any occasion.

And lastly, my lolly pot.  Mmmm, picture this filled to overflowing with gorgeous pink & white marshmellows.  Sorry, I really should have done that for the picture shouldn't I?  That is how it will be presented tomorrow night.  Filled to the brim with yummy goodness.

Thanks for stopping by, I will be back to share more really soon.

Stamp Club Projects

Last night we had Stamp Club and it was so much fun to play with some new products.  We created the following cards.

This one used a masking technique to create the oval shape and we used the new In Colors - Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.  And of course the gorgeous trees from Lovely As A Tree.  The sentiment comes from the Simply Said set.

This card uses some new Designer Series Paper from the Good Morning Sunshine set and the stamp on the background is from A Good Friend set.  Very retro and funky.  The "I heart you" comes from A Happy Heart set.
And we added a little bit of sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds and the 2-way glue pen plus embossed the dots with the Crop-o-dile.

Follow any of the links to the new catalogue and have fun perusing the pages.  If you would like your own copy of the catalogue to mark, post-it note-it, or dog ear then give me a call or email and I will let you know how I can get one to you.  It is certainly worth having, packed full of ideas and products.

Bye for now,
Alex

So come along to grab a discounted stamp set, some In Color papers, ribbons etc at a great price.  If you need the address please email me at scrapalley@gmail.com and I will let you know.  Come along anytime between 7.00-8.30pm.  Would love to see you.

Makeesha's Challenge

I decided to take part in a challenge tonight and here are the colours:
Love these colours together.  And of course my favourite Purely Pomegranate is involved!  Really gonna miss that colour :(And here is the full picture of my card:

I have used the Big Bold Birthday set for this card.  I love cupcakes and I love the pearls from the Pretties kit used for 'chunky' sprinkles.

Thanks for the challenge Makeesha, I really enjoyed it.  Maybe you all should head on over and take the challenge.  It is a great motivator and starting ground for creating.

More peeks at Stampin' Up's New Catalogue

So much for making some things with the retired product.  :)  I have been having far too much fun creating with the new stuff.  Borrowed a new set from my friend Liz to create this card:
Enjoy.
