Stamp Club Projects

Last night we had Stamp Club and it was so much fun to play with some new products.  We created the following cards.

This one used a masking technique to create the oval shape and we used the new In Colors - Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze and Pacific Point.  And of course the gorgeous trees from Lovely As A Tree.  The sentiment comes from the Simply Said set.

This card uses some new Designer Series Paper from the Good Morning Sunshine set and the stamp on the background is from A Good Friend set.  Very retro and funky.  The "I heart you" comes from A Happy Heart set.
And we added a little bit of sparkle with Dazzling Diamonds and the 2-way glue pen plus embossed the dots with the Crop-o-dile.

Follow any of the links to the new catalogue and have fun perusing the pages.  If you would like your own copy of the catalogue to mark, post-it note-it, or dog ear then give me a call or email and I will let you know how I can get one to you.  It is certainly worth having, packed full of ideas and products.

Bye for now,
Alex

Making Way for Stampin' Up Changes

It's time to clear out the good oldies and bring in some new stampin' buddies.  So I am having a Retirement Sale so that I will have a whole bunch of new stamps to demonstrate to you at your next workshops or classes.  How good is that?

So come along to grab a discounted stamp set, some In Color papers, ribbons etc at a great price.  If you need the address please email me at scrapalley@gmail.com and I will let you know.  Come along anytime between 7.00-8.30pm.  Would love to see you.

Makeesha's Challenge

I decided to take part in a challenge tonight and here are the colours:
Love these colours together.  And of course my favourite Purely Pomegranate is involved!  Really gonna miss that colour :(And here is the full picture of my card:

I have used the Big Bold Birthday set for this card.  I love cupcakes and I love the pearls from the Pretties kit used for 'chunky' sprinkles.

Thanks for the challenge Makeesha, I really enjoyed it.  Maybe you all should head on over and take the challenge.  It is a great motivator and starting ground for creating.

More peeks at Stampin' Up's New Catalogue

So much for making some things with the retired product.  :)  I have been having far too much fun creating with the new stuff.  Borrowed a new set from my friend Liz to create this card:
Enjoy.

Introducing my new Stampin' Up friends!

As you all know the new catalogue is just around the corner, and I would like to introduce you to my new friends for 2009/2010.
Meet (from the top) Kiwi Kiss, Baja Breeze, Pacific Point, Tangerine Tango, Riding Hood Red and Pink Pirouette.  Obviously, for those of you that know me you can guess that the last one will be my Best Friend for the year.  These are the new In Color range from the new catalogue coming out on 1st April.  While I'm sorry about losing Purely Pomegranate and all its' friends, I look forward to playing with the new colours.

In fact, that is just what I have been doing.  Along with the patterned paper you can see in the photo above.
These cards use a new set for 2009/2010 called Good Friend.  It is very cute.
Can you believe that Easter is only just around the corner.  How scary is that?

I will have more to share really soon.  Bye for now

Celebrate

Just a little card to share:

I have been working at the LSS lately and finding it difficult to get time to create.  Next week I will be able to and I need to get into using my sets that are retiring before they finish.  I will come and share them with you when I do.

On another similar subject, guess what I received this week?

My preorder from the new catalogue. Yippee! This year Stampin' Up have been so nice to us and let us have a few products before the catalogue is released. That way we can be ready to show you some new goodies straight away on April 1. Speaking of which, stay tuned for details of my catalogue launch party. It is coming up soon.

Be sure to contact me with your March Madness order ASAP.

Bye for now,
