A little bit of heart....
This card is a little bit of fun with the papers from the Summer mini catalogue. The background has been stamped with the Paisley background with Versamark. A little bit of Flirty ribbon and a little bit of stitching and there you go.......a little bit of heart!

Phew....
the long weekend is over! It has been a very busy one here in our household this weekend. With a three year old birthday party and Easter all rolled into one!! But we have had a fantastic time.
Just a couple of cards to share with you:
This card uses the Bugs & Kisses set. It is so darn cute! I cased this card from Split Coast Stampers which is a great place for inspiration.
This card was for my Father-in-Laws birthday and uses the All About U set (which looks like it will be discontinued - boo hoo!) I really love this set, it lends itself well to males cards but can also be used as a girly design just by using pretty colours. (Card also features Basic Grey paper - am looking forward to the new Stampin' Up designer papers. They look gorgeous and at the moment I only have a limited few SU papers to play with. And as they are all discontinuing it is not worth it to get any more now. Not too many sleeps to go before the new catalogue is available!
I have worked on some more cards tonight but as I can't photograph them till tomorrow, I will have to share them with you later.
Bye for now,

First Workshop!
On Wednesday night I held my very first workshop. It was among friends and I felt that it went really well. I had a great time and the host got some great goodies for free.
I had worked all week on this little display to celebrate Easter:
It was fun to do and rather easy. I just stamped a whole bunch of Stampin' Up flowers and cut them out. Then thread them onto a skewer and top with an easter egg or easter chick. Easy!!
And we created these two cards:The gorgeous brown patterned paper on this card is only available for the next week. Please contact me if you would like me to order some for you. It comes in a pack of 12 sheets (2ea. of 6 designs), 12 x 12 size, all in co-ordinating patterns. At only $16.95 it is a great deal. But only available until the end of March, this will not be in the new catalogue.
I will be back over the weekend to share with you some other goodies I have made lately.

Wooo Hooo!!!!!!
I have today, in my hot little hands, a copy of the new catalogue (Thanks a bunch Linda!).
It is GORGEOUS!!!!! So many new things to play with......I can't wait until 1st April. I am not allowed to show you yet.....Oooooo! the suspense. LOL.
If you would like to pre-order a copy of the new Idea & Catalogue Book, please do not hesitate to contact me. They retail for $12.95 and are packed full of not only fabulous products but devine projects for you to copy. My special to you will be the Books available for $10.00 each - believe me....you will look at it over & over & over again. The Book and ordering will be available from the 1st April.
Keep an eye out here over the next week and I will give you some sneak peeks at some of the sets available.

I'M SO EXCITED...and I just can't hide it!
I know, I know....a real swing back to the 90's (or is it 80's) with that title reference. But I am really excited.
Wanna know why????
On Saturday I decied to submit the card that was posted below (now removed!) to Stamping & Papercraft magazine's readers gallery. And today I have arrived home from shopping to find an answer email saying they "would love to use it for an upcoming feature". I certainly didn't expect to hear from them so fast and was very pleasantly surprised. YAY!!
Here are a few things I have been working on over the last couple of days:
This Gift Certificate Pouch was design for a girlfriends present. It features the Scribble This set that was in the Spring Mini Catalogue and I believe is soon to resurface in the new catalogue (people have info!).
It holds the certificate in place and is held closed with the sliding band that has been embellished with a gorgeous flower. The flower has been 'water-coloured' with the Stampin' Pastels and a blender pen.
This next photo is using my stash of 'other' products. It was my eldest Son's birthday on the weekend and instead of making my family a card, I make them an 8x8 scrapbook page with my written greeting on the back. This was his page/card for turning 8.
Thanks for sharing in my good news.

I'm in Love + Lots of Eye Candy
I have had a ball last night and today playing with some borrowed Stampin' Up! goodies. And yes, I am in LOVE.
With the Stamp-a-ma-jig that is! And with this stamp set - WILD ROSE! It is just devine and I am just going to have to add this to MY stash. I made the above card for my Mum's birthday this weekend but when it was finished I decided that I just couldn't part with it.......so I had to make another one. And as I can't seem to do anything the same twice, it has been changed just slightly.
Then I decided to make matching envelopes.
On this next card I have indulged my passion for vintage music paper.
I was lucky enough to run into a lovely lady on my last trip to the Salvation Army on my hunt for it. She loaded me up with music from as early as 1904.
The inscription on the side is this:How cool is that!? I love history. I wonder who May was? And who was Vi?
Anyway, finally I will finish with another scrap page I finished today. This one features my NEW alpha set that I received for free when I joined (love the specials that SU have!). And also the Polka Dots & Petals Set from the last mini catalogue. I really hope this one comes out in the new catalogue, it is so versitile.Hope you have enjoyed. Bye,

Some More Cards....
using the great SU products.
CUTE AS A BUG
This card was cased from the American Stampin' Up Cataloge with the circle punch used instead of the square punch. It uses the Bugs & Kisses stamp set and Stampin Dimensionals.
HAPPY EASTER
As Easter is coming up REAL soon I wanted to play with some Easter Eggs. This is what I come up with. It uses the Flower Filled stamp set with organdy ribbon and brads.

BIG DECISION...BIG EXCITEMENT!!
This last week I have made the big decision to join up with one of my favourite companies, Stampin' Up. My girlfriend Linda has been with the company for the last year and a half and I have had so much fun as a customer. It has been a hard decision because it means I have to close down my own business in homewares. But it just feels right!
So to get right too it I have been busy creating cards for my display album to take to workshops. Here are some samples:I used the following:
Fun Filled stamps, Brocade Blue & Pixie Pink ink, Very Vanilla, Certainly Celery & Not Quite Navy card and silver brads to finish off. This one I used:
Simply Said stamps, Rose red, Certainly Celery & Versamark ink, Rose red, Certainly Celery & Whisper White card plus Certainy Celery wide grosgrain ribbon and Flirty ribbon from the summer mini catalogue. I also used the slit punch to create the scolloped border.
Being a scrapbooker at heart I have, of course, completed some scrapbooking pages.
I am looking forward to this new venture and hope to share my passion with as many people as possible. Excitement is fun and the products that Stampin' Up have REALLY excite me. And the new catalogue is only weeks away!!! (Big sigh) Can't wait!
